Week 9-10 (4/26-5/9)
Sunday, April 26 - Saturday, May 2
Overall, this week was really fun! Karyn her roommate, Nour, and I headed to Paradise City in Incheon for Inkigayo on the Go!. We got watch so many comeback performances live. We got to see TXT, NCT WISH, Xdinary Heroes, &TEAM, CORTIS, and more! To end off the night we ate some KKBQ in Hongdae. I don't remember the name of the restaurant, but it was Halal Certified.
Wednesday (4/29), was my 21st birthday! At midnight, Karyn and Nour surprised me with a cute little brownie cake from Twosome Cafe with candles. It was so sweet I almost cried T^T. Later that day, we went to Gangnam to eat dinner at Wingstop. Honestly, it hits so much different in Korea. We also got dessert at Benson Creamery, and on the way back to Sinchon there was such a pretty sunset. It reminded me so much of home ):
Since we had a long weekend, we tried to cram as much fun stuff as possible! On Friday (5/1), Karyn met up with friends who were exchange students at Manoa, that go to school at Ewha and Sogang! We visited Sunnyne Dog Cafe, which was full of so many cute elderly rescue dogs. There was a golden retriever that delivers your drinks in a basket and a little chihuahua that had its tongue sticking out. Afterwards we took some pictures and had teppenyaki for dinner.
On Saturday (5/2), Karyn and I went to Hiphopplaya (our very first concert ticket purchase through NOL) at Kintex. The transportation to get there was pretty confusing... We had to take the GTX-A line at Seoul Station. To board, we couldn't use our T-Money and Climate Cards, so we had to buy a ticket at a nearby kiosk instead. I was skeptical about the event being 10 hours, but it was so worth it!! We got to see Jay Park, LNGSHOT, VVD, KC, and more! Out of all the performances we saw I think my favorite had to be Zion T.

Since we had another holiday on Tuesday (5/5), I actually ended up with a 5-day weekend because I have no classes on Monday on Wednesday. (:<
On Children's day, Karyn and I went to Lotte World Aquarium in Jamsil for the Cookie Run Event. We totally forgot that it was a family holiday, so it was packed... We also got super lost trying to find the exit to Lotte World Mall, but seeing all the different animals was so worth it.
Also, the aquarium is in the mall and because we didn't have enough to explore the mall, we decided to go back the next day ToT. We checked out the Studio Ghibli store, the Cookie Run Kingdom pop up, and had dinner at P.F. Chang's.
On Saturday (5/9), we headed back to Hongdae because we were obsessed with the dog cafe we went to last week. They had a whole new rotation of dogs and instead of having one chihuahua with its tongue sticking out, they had two! Afterwards, we had a delicious brunch at Rachel's Kitchen! I'm going to miss their souffle pancakes ):
